On Monday, January 21st 2019 we gather this year in the Legislative Chambers of the Fond du Lac City/County Building (CITY HALL) to honor the legacy of The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as a community united despite our differences. Please Note that although there will be government official present and members of the clergy, this is not official government business, nor is it a religious service.
We do honor: "IN GOD WE TRUST" and "ONE NATION UNDER GOD!"
Please come out, bring friends and family, post and share on Facebook!
Bishop Haywood has written many Guest Commentary(s) in the local News Paper which has been re-printed by national news media.
HAYWOOD: What does MLK Day look like in Fond du Lac? It's all of us. Fondy may not be the red hills of Georgia, but groups like Ebony Vision, United For Diversity, Life Enforcement, Marian University and Bread Of Life Church provide ample opportunities at the epicenter of King’s dream.
